The ACM India Joint International Conference on Data Sciences and Management of Data (CoDS-COMAD) 2018 (5th ACM iKDD CoDS and 23rd COMAD) will be held in Goa University, India on 11-13th January, 2018. CODS-COMAD 2018 is also hosting a demonstration session that provides a forum to researchers and developers to display their software systems, prototypes, conceptual designs, libraries, etc., in an interactive setting. Topics of interest include but are not limited to:

  • Technology for Emerging Markets
The submitted demonstrations can either focus on early prototypes of new technology or can be based on innovative features and functionalities added to already mature systems.
The submission must describe the innovative research that has produced the demonstrated system. It must also include technical specification, literature references, and optionally include a URL to screenshots or an online version. The submissions will be carefully reviewed by the Demonstration Program Committee and be selected based on various factors such as novelty, relevance to CODS-COMAD, potential impact, technical challenges being addressed, practical applications, etc. The submissions should not exceed 4 pages of content plus unlimited references and should be formatted in the standard ACM style available at the ACM Master Article Template. The submissions should be made via Easychair. The submission deadline is October 15th, 2017 and the notifications will be sent out by November 1st, 2017. The publication of the demo is proceedings in optional. So even if someone is publishing some work somewhere else, they can demo their work in this session and not publish in the proceedings. Also note that students will receive generous funding for attending the conference to show their demos.
